My Story

I was born and raised right here in Chicago, and I’m a proud HBCU graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Mathematics. Before I moved back to Chicago, for two years, I worked as a teacher, and while I enjoyed teaching, I quickly realized something important our kids needed more. They needed adults who could show up for them emotionally, guide them through life beyond academics, and prepare them for the challenges they’d face outside of school walls.

Helping people has been in my heart since kindergarten—I still remember drawing a picture of what I wanted to be when I grew up, and even then, I knew my purpose was to support others. That calling led me to become both a certified life coach and a certified spiritual life coach, because I believe in caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

I was raised by a “village”—family, family friends, and teachers who poured into me and helped shape who I am today. That foundation, along with my faith in God, is what keeps me striving to do better and be better. And it’s also what fuels my passion for giving back.

I believe true happiness and peace come when we learn how to take care of ourselves, no matter the circumstances. And I believe it’s our responsibility as adults to share our wisdom and experiences with young people in healthy, empowering ways. When we prepare them early for the realities of life—through self-care, communication, leadership, and resilience—they grow into confident leaders at home, in their careers, and in their communities.

That’s why I started this nonprofit. It’s not just an organization—it’s a movement to give kids and families the support, skills, and opportunities they deserve. But I can’t do it alone. It takes a new kind of “village”—made up of people like you.

Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word, you’re helping us create a brighter, stronger future for our youth. Together, we can prepare them not only to dream, but to build, lead, and thrive.
