This is an invitation for parents with youth ages 12-22 to give their kids a chance to try new things and explore popular attractions in Downtown Chicago. July 8th My Block, My Hood, My City will fund the day with a $50 prepaid card and promises to be a fun, safe, and exciting exploration experience

Event Description
We have joined My Block My Hood My City on their mission to eliminate youth being able to say the phrase “I’ve never been downtown.” by 2025. On July 8th, MBMHMC along with our support and other nonprofits will host a citywide event aimed to bring 1,000 youth ages 13-22 to explore downtown.
Youth will receive $50 exploration card, free transportation, & a famous My Block My Hood My City shirt to explore downtown & purchase some good food, cultural items and activities. Partnered with downtown businesses to offer discounts and free entry, to the movie theaters, a cultural concert and so much more to have all youth travel around downtown in a fun, safe & exciting way.
